kodo is a performance of japanese taiko drums, and is astonishing. i'm still at awe. the impact overwhelms you and the soul behind the drummers cannot be surmounted. you just have to check this group out, seriously. insane. i frikkin' cried! not to mention... the guys are ripped!!!!! oh, those beautiful abs.
and the best part is... they were recruiting apprentices... so i showed interest, and the manager game me his business card. oh, yeah, baby! it's a two year training session. mornings start at 4:30am. make breakfast. eat. field work. drum. make lunch. eat. drum. make dinner. drum. sleep. vigorous, but soooo flipping worth it. watch me; give me four years. i will perform with kodo. you watch. :)
